Don’t we all have days when we’ve burnt our toast in the morning, had a car splash extraordinary amount of sludge on our somewhat new boots, made a terrible mistake at work and had a happy bird do its business on your tired shoulders. Here’s how you probably deal with it.Take it all out on the first person you see or cry heaps before you start to feel better!
The latter I am pro for. Nothing that a good cry cannot solve. But the first, not so much! Here’s something we can do instead.Turn to music !
Take this five song journey with me to calm the chaos! You can later order a fat burger too.

1. Smile , the Charlie Chaplin song :

“You’ll find that life is still worthwhile, if you just smile”

Research proves that even forcing a smile can help you feel better. Feel how all your anxieties melt away as you listen to this wonderful tune from the 1930’s by the master himself. Nat king Cole’s voice and Lyrics by the songwriter duo John Turner and Geoffrey Parsons added in the 1950’s brings sunshine right back into your life.

2. Que sera sera – Doris Day:

“Que sera sera, whatever will be will be”

So now that you have a quiet smile on your face and your heart is a little lifted, let the beautiful Doris Day remind you of the art of going with flow, of not worrying about things beyond our control, of enjoying the present and letting life happen to us.Just sit back and let the humble lyrics and the charming melody from the 1950’s take over!
