After a tiring long day at work, nothing makes me happier to finally be home and start on my skin care routine. For some reason it is the best wind down I can give myself each day. After all, the skin is the largest organ and we ought to give it as much love as we can!

Besides the daily CTM, twice a week I exfoliate my skin. The dead cells on the surface of my combination skin scream to be removed so I can have a fresh layer of new skin on me, to face the new tomorrow!

My favorite face scrub hands down is the Aroma Magic mineral glow scrub

Here’s my review:

About the Brand:

A trusted brand for about 25 years, started by an exemplary lady, Blossom Kochhar. This brand previously made a lot of essential oils that could be used for Aroma therapy. I have been using their essential oils for ages now for a lot skin and hair problems and they’ve never ever disappointed me. Plus they are cruelty free, they don’t use parabens, alcohol, mineral oils, sulphates, phthalates, artificial coloring or fragrances, which is such a plus. You really can’t go wrong with most of their products. Also, they’re extremely affordable. I can’t seem to think of even one negative. An absolute fan of this home grown brand!

The Product Packaging:

The scrub comes in a 100 ml tube of matte white with really pretty, minimal colorful flower details on the cover surface. Looks extremely classy and high end to me. The tube packaging is both convenient for travel and hygienic for use. Thumbs up here

As specified before the product is void of any artificial checmicals, coloring or fragrance. They don’t contain any alcohol, parabens or pethrochemicals. They’re made of all natural ingredients as can be seen from the picture above.

Does not have microbeads (yay environment!), instead has cornflour and almond meal for scrub particles.

The best part – the three essential oil blends of rose, tea tree and lavender gives your skin the extra love. Also it’s pretty moisturizing with the presence of rice bran oil, beewax and glycerin

How do they recommend using it:

The recommend applying the scrub on your face, neck and body. Massage it with wet fingers and rinse off with water. For best results they recommend leaving the scrub on the face for 10 minutes after you’ve exfoliated, and then washing it off.

I personally do leave the product on my face for about 10 minutes before washing. I feel all the goodness in the scrub will be absorbed into my freshly exfoliated skin better that way and I do end up getting a soft, supple glow on my skin after each usage

Final verdict!

As if I could rave about this product any further! As I’ve said before, twice a week I will use the mineral glow scrub to exfoliate my skin. It ends up buffing away all the dead skin and rids my skin of all the bad things that comes with it’s exposure to the sun and pollution. It’s not harsh at all to my skin. The essential oils and glycerin end up moisturizing my skin and gives it a beautiful glow. Plus with regular use it’s seemed to have reduced the reappearance of the blackheads on my nose and made the texture of my skin very smooth. I absolutely don’t see me switching to another product any time soon.

It absolutely is worth giving a try!

That’s it ❤
